I just finished going through the unedited images from one of Mark’s boudoir, art nude photoshoots from this week. We go through the shots together because his clients like to get the male/female input on their possible selections.
In going through the shots I was struck by something I’ve known all along but never really thought too much about. There were at least 3 shots of each pose. And each shot showed something different. The difference wasn’t in the pose, it was in Mark’s lighting.
One of the aspects of his photography that his clients love is that he uses shadow and light, shape and illusion to create the perfect image. If a shot shows too much, or does not flatter, he changes his lighting, and voila! Suddenly the image is completely gorgeous, flattering and HOT!
The photo I have in mind from this shoot is one he took with his client strategically entwined with beautiful, light and flowing blue fabric. The photograph is completely discreet – shows “nothing”, yet says EVERYTHING! What a gorgeous shot!!!
Mark’s goal at Casual Elegance Photography is to create beautiful and lasting images of his clients. All photoshoots are a collaboration of ideas with his clients, and he is always delighted to create for them those special images for the ones they love.
