Well, there are going to be a lot of pleased husbands, friends, and lovers this Valentine’s Day.  At Casual Elegance Photography ® we have had the honor to be able to help several clients create Boudoir, Nude, and Intimate images for their loved one’s Valentine’s Day gift.  Our client’s concepts and ideas were great this year and I’m sure that we have helped them create some images that their significant other will enjoy for years to come.  It’s been a very active past few weeks with trying to schedule all the shoots in order to have the prints back in time for the big day.  I guess we’ll start reminding folks earlier next year – this year we waited until almost January to start reminding folks and still had requests for last minute shoots.  We try to do what we can to accommodate our clients but it’s sometimes difficult to work within their timeframe and still have prints in hand before the deadline.  We offer several options when it looks like prints won’t be ready due to the last minute shoot – we try to do what we can to make sure that the day is still a special one and have had good success in doing so.

At Casual Elegance Photography ® we look forward to creating special images for you.  Please visit our website to see samples of our work, read our client testimonials, and review the services we provide.

Lisa Walker (face2face Makeup Artist) and I did a client shoot yesterday where we painted a hockey team jersey on a client.  WOW!  It came out fantastic and the client was thrilled.  It took 4 hours but it was worth every minute of time we spent.  The client is giving her husband images we shot of her “wearing” the jersey for Valentine’s day.  WOW!

Body Painting is a cool thing to do.  It takes time to do right, but when it’s done you would be amazed at the results.  Here is one we did of Harley Quinn (from Batman) on a model we know.   Three hours later the results were amazing.  The only things real in the shot are the shoes, the wrist things, the hat, the gloves, and the mask.

If you are considering something special as a gift for someone special, consider a body painting photo session.  You’ll be glad you did.

Casual Elegance Photography ® has recently implemented a new policy requiring a security deposit of $50 to reserve a date and time for a photo session.  The deposit will be applied to the cost of your photo session.

Here is how it works:

Deposit: Once a date and time is agreed upon, a $50 retainer fee will be required to reserve your appointment.  This fee will be applied toward the cost of your session, and must be paid within 72 hours after you book a date and time with us. No additional services for your session (makeup artists, etc) will be booked until this deposit is paid. For your convenience we accept Paypal over the internet and most major credit cards over the phone.  If you prefer we also accept cash and checks in person.  Please see the cancellation policy below.

Cancellation Policy: Please understand that your session requires much more than the time it takes for actually taking the photos. Cancellations impact not only our schedule, but the schedules others (service providers, such as makeup artists, as well as other clients). If you must cancel your shoot, we require 72 hours notice for your deposit to be fully refunded OR applied to a rescheduled shoot.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will allow your deposit to be applied to a rescheduled session. If your cancellation is made less than 24 in advance, or if you fail to arrive for your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
