Today we spent the whole day painting our newest shooting room in a nice gray color. It’s not quite a neutral gray, but it will be perfect for the things we have in mind.
Kaitlyn, Ruth, and I did the painting. I got stuck with the “brush work” while Kaitlyn and Ruth did all the roller work. It looks fantastic!!!! We painted over the yellow-orange that was on the walls and it transformed the room to a much nicer look.
My highlight of the day (since I was doing the brush work) was lunch! 🙂 We ordered in a couple of Pizzas and had a nice chat while we were sitting and eating. It’s always interesting how many different topics come up in a short period of time.
After my shoots tomorrow I’m going to start thinking about what sets would look great in the new room. I’m (that means Ruth and I) thinking that a living room scene (perhaps with a fireplace) may be nice to have. We are also planning on having a Brick Wall with Graffiti (provided by Lisa) and a “metal” wall in the “old” part of the studio.
I’m so thankful that the studio has been growing the way it has. My clients have all said how comfortable and home like the studio is. That is the ultimate compliment. We want our “guests” to be fully comfortable and happy in our studio.
